Nope, not really! I was testing the "Notify" using various configurations in my profile and the board.....no replies no matter WHAT I use. 
Guest we just need to patient and wait for the forum gods to figure it out....did I mention patience is not one of my finer qualities?

Wow! I just now put 2 + 2 together and realized you're on Trike Talk too! Boy, am I slow!!!
Anyway, I'm pretty sure the reply option worked here at some point, just can't remember the last time I used it. Oh, well....we'll wait and see what happens, I guess.

I would think that may be a contributing factor to the lack of participation on this site----too bad, doesn't take long to lose interest when you have to go in and dig for responses you may have gotten.
